Designed in collaboration with Picture Organic Clothing, the CALGARY 26 is a technical backpack with numerous features for freeriders seeking a distinctive and eco-friendly style.

The new CALGARY 26, co-developed by ARVA and Picture Organic Clothing, combines expertise in creating technical and sustainable products.

Made from durable recycled polyester fabric, this fully-equipped freeriding backpack is both functional and environmentally conscious. The roll-top opening can be secured in two ways and offers a 4-liter expansion option. The unique design stands out, while the waist belt provides a snug fit for stability, even during intense rides. The hip belt can be removed for lighter loads. This backpack can carry the widest skis, a snowboard, or an ice axe, making it the perfect companion for backcountry adventures. Avalanche safety gear is easily accessible in a large, separate compartment on the front of the pack.

How Does Recycled Polyester Differ from Virgin Polyester?

The recycling process re-creates the fiber at a molecular level, resulting in no qualitative differences between recycled and virgin polyester. Both materials offer identical performance and durability, but recycled polyester has a significantly smaller environmental footprint.

1. It eliminates the need for oil, significantly reducing its carbon footprint.
2. Producing recycled polyester requires four times less energy.
3. It repurposes plastic waste, preventing it from ending up in landfills.
